D-Day Honor Trip 70th Anniversary 6 June 2014

On June 6, 2014, the Triad Flight of Honor organization sent five busloads of World War II veteran/heroes to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. It was an unforgettable experience... and the Memorial is an absolutely magnificent tribute to these very special American icons. I can't express enough my sincere appreciation to Jeff Sims, the trip director, for including me in this project. It has been a true honor, one that I will never be able to repay. Thank you, Sir.
