Last week while playing the Wilmington Tigers, running back (and Mr. Versatility) Willie Harris suffered a season-ending knee injury. Willie is a leader on the Carolina Heat, has been for a long time and will be for a long time to come. He is one of those few individuals who truly demonstrates what it really is to be a leader, and a man who let his play speak for him. He is a true gentleman, and his presence on the field will be greatly missed. In the pictures from the game vs. the Raiders, you will see many references to Willie's #11 from his teammates. The respect and love from his teammates is obvious and deep.
